This Journal

Honestly, I don't use LiveJournal much. I used it sporadically during 2005. I just deleted most of my older posts here.

My current website is at packetjunkie.net. Maybe my BSD-related site, bsdbox.org, will actually not be lame at some point n the future. And, I also keep some stuff on the web hosted at tun0.net.

If you want, you can look at my MySpace, but I'm not too into it. I just happen to have it.

// packetjunkie

craigslist

i posted this ad on craigslist to sell some stuff and the responses i got was insane. i don't know how some of these people survive in the world.

"ARE YOU SERIOUS??????" -- no, of course not, i randomly take pictures of stuff and post fake ads on craigslist.

"what games are included?" -- obviously you are illiterate because i specified it clearly in the ad

"can you deliver it to me in bensonhurst?" -- you are an asshole. i stated specificially that you must pick it up. do you think you're special because you have a stupid name like guissepe?

i had said if you're serious, to include your phone number and specify when you'd be available to pick it up. only one person out of 8 did that.

at least it's better than last time i tried selling stuff on CL. i had 1 valid buyer, some moron telling me to give it to him for free because it wasnt worth selling, and someone offering me a massage in exchange.

China

According to some CNN article:

China's communist government promotes Internet use for business and education. But it also has launched the world's most sweeping effort to police what its people can see online, blocking access to material deemed subversive or pornographic."

That basically means that they're saying, "Use the Internet, but not 95% of it!"

Fake Blogs

I think blog is fake. Why? One article alone is enough for its entire credibility to fall apart. He claims to have been bitten by a camel spider in this post, but shows 2003 pictures of a brown recluse spider bite. The reason the credibility falls apart is because camel spiders are NOT poisonous.

I honestly think half or maybe even nearly all of thes "Iraqi" blogs are run by liberal Americans (or French, or some other communist-hippie faggot) for the sole purpose of trying to stir anti-war sentiments.

Take this one blog post by some faggot who says:

Yes. And Bush is extremely concerned with the mosques. He might ask the occupation forces in Iraq to quit attacking mosques and detaining the worshipers inside- to stop raiding them and bombing them and using them as shelters for American snipers in places like Falluja and Samarra. And the terrorists who sent a suicide bomber to a teaching hospital in Mosul? Maybe they got their cue from the American troops who attacked the only functioning hospital in Falluja.

The rules of engagement state that we don't attack mosques. In Falluja it was necessary because the fucking Iraqis were using it as a stronghold and refuge since they knew we didn't want to target the mosque. After receiving a LOT of fire, the Americans finally made the decision to attack. Seriously, if they didn't use facilities like mosques and hospitals and weren't trying to be sneaky and exploit the rules of engagement and attempting to demonize us, those buildings wouldn't be hit. However, if you're receiving heavy fire, you need to do something about it.

I'd love to see IP addresses of the bloggers revealed. It'd be hilarious to find that they're US based.

On Saturday I walked from the the Barnes and Nobel by Lincoln Center to right over the border of Nassau County, which turns out to have been about 15 miles.

On Monday, I ran almost five miles.

It'd be great if I did something physically fun every other day. So, what am I going to do today?
